研究所補習班第一選擇:大碩研究所補習班

最近天氣變得好冷啊！大家有沒有多穿點啊
在這個時間小編靈光一閃決定來介紹些跟天氣有關的片語
說不定對大家寫英文作文有所幫助喔~

1. storm out
→storm是風暴，就是氣急敗壞地離開的意思，
She stormed out the room with anger.
另外也有個跟storm有關的片語，ride out a storm，
騎(?)經過一個暴風? 沒錯，就是度過難關的意思！

2. calm before the storm
→暴風雨前的寧靜，其實這句話本身就可以當作一句諺語了，
不過為了展現誠意小編還是會努力造句的，
Laying the tables in the canteen before the dinner break is just the calm before the storm.

3. under the weather
→身體不舒服，這邊的weather要解讀成"不好的天氣"。
所以在不好的天氣下就是身體不大舒服的意思，
I'm under the weather today.

4. get wind of
→聽到風聲，這個應該挺好理解的嗎?
Detectives got the wind of the plans of a huge drug dealing.
(講到drug dealing小編就會一直想到絕命毒師，他們販賣的就是meth，冰毒喔)

5. take a rain check
→起源於美國棒球賽要是下雨，官方就會發個rain check，
讓你可以換看一場、或是下次進場免費，久了就引申成改期的意思了，
Can I take a rain check? I got an important date.
